Biography
Ankireddy Seshadri Reddy was born in Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his Master degree (2009) in Medicinal Chemistry from Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Tamil Nadu, and he completed the six months MS project in natural product chemistry under the guidance of Prof. G. N. Krishna Kumari, who is well known for one of the famous natural products organic chemist in India. Earlier to his doctoral work (Ph.D.), he was working as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project sanctioned by the Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi, India for 18 months. During this tenure, he was completely expertise in synthetic inorganic chemistry for biological and catalytic applications. Afterward, he moved to South Korea to pursue his doctoral degree and successfully completed his Ph.D. from the department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Gachon University, Seoul South Korea under the valuable guidance of Prof. Kim Jongsung in 2017. During his doctoral degree, he was worked on Synthesis and Characterization of Fluorescent Quantum dots (QDs), Carbon Dots (CDs) and their Potential Applications in Detection of Biomolecules, Metal Ions, and Neurotransmitters via fluorimetric assays. Since then, he joined as a Research Professor in the same department where he was graduated and he had expanded his area of research work not only in the nanomaterials mediated sensing applications, but also currently working in synthesis of divergent nanoparticles and nanoclusters for bio-imaging, anticancer study, advanced drug delivery, organic catalysis, clean gas (H2) production, and energy applications.
